Annie attends the Gullah Heritage Festival

For 20 years, Annie has been hoping to attend the historical African American/West African “Gullah Festival” held annually in Beaufort, SC. She wanted the opportunity to celebrate her heritage and learn more about the traditions so she can pass them on to her family. Senior Wishes was happy to assist her in making this dream come true and she even got her picture in the local paper while she was there! Annie had a terrific weekend with family members and checked off an item on her bucket list!
