WWII Vet Marco Sees His Beloved Dodgers Play

Marco, 89, an active volunteer with Schofield Nursing home, has been a fan of the L.A. Dodgers for as long as he can remember. This Korean War Veteran was the recipient of his wish, sponsored by Centers Health Care, at the 4th Annual Sips, Suds & Sweets event in April. Marco, accompanied by his son, traveled to Cleveland to watch his beloved Dodgers play the Indians. The L.A. Dodgers sent him an autographed baseball and picture of his favorite player, Kershaw, and he even got to meet him in person at the field. He was decked out head to toe in Dodgers clothing so there was no mistaking who he was there to root for! He even got to sit behind home plate!
