Jean shared in her application that trips to the zoo were once a favorite family tradition, though it had been many years since her last visit. To make theexperience extra special, Senior Wishes coordinated a private meet-and-greet with one of the zoo’s resident chinchillas. Jean also received a gift card for the Zootique gift shop, allowing her to bring a few souvenirs home to remember the day. Jean was accompanied by her daughter, aide and our fantastic Wish Granting Committee member, Ruth. She thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with the animals and reliving cherished memories.
