A Group Wish to meet Staff Sergeant David G. Bellavia

The staff at the Veterans Home in Batavia knew a wish that would thrill their residents.....a visit from Staff Sergeant David G. Bellavia, the first living Iraq War Veteran to receive the Medal of Honor.  Close to 100 Veterans and staff were treated to a short speech from Sergeant Bellavia, followed by a meet and greet, photos and the opportunity to hold the Medal of Honor.  A reception followed.  Senior Wishes was humbled and grateful to have David assist us in granting this wish to our local heroes.  Thank you all for your service!
